1. Place a large handful of spinach into the blender, 1 handful of fresh raspberries and blueberries, next add the 1 kiwi, 1 cup of frozen strawberries, and 1 cup of frozen blueberries.
2. Next, add the ½ tsp. spirulina, 1 tsp. chia seed, 1 tsp. bee pollen (optional but nutritious), 3 tbsp. raw honey, and 2 ¼ cups of orange juice.
3. Blend until smooth, serve, and in-joy!

Oranges are my favorite citrus fruits. They’re full of vitamins and minerals that are made to keep you young and healthy. Oranges are good for lowering cholesterol because they’re full of soluble fiber making them easy to digest and lower cholesterol. Oranges are good for your heart because they’re rich in potassium, which is an essential electrolyte mineral for helping the heart function and work properly. If you developed an irregular heart rhythm it may be that your potassium levels are too low which is known as arrhythmia. Oranges are also great for your skin because of the beta-carotene found in oranges that protect cells from being damaged and free radicals from forming causing aging. Finally, oranges relieve constipation, alkalize the body (after digested), and are easy carbs.
Kiwis contain numerous phytonutrients as well known vitamins and minerals that promote good health. In studies, “kiwifruit has fascinated researchers for its ability to protect DNA in the nucleus of human cells from oxygen-related damage”. Kiwis are also a great source of antioxidants because of the high level of vitamin C. Water-soluble antioxidants are good for the body because they neutralize free radicals that can cause damage to cells that can lead to complications like inflammation and cancer. Kiwifruit can also help protect against asthma, macular degeneration, and is good for cardiovascular health. So you see this small tropical fruit packs a punch in the health department and shouldn’t be underestimated for its healing properties.
