CRUST

1 Cup - Raw Unpasteurized Almonds

1 Cup - Pitted Dates

1/4 Cup - Carob Powder

FILLING

4 - Ripe Pears

Raw Honey, To Taste

TOPPING

1 Cup - Raw Unpasteurized Almonds

Cinnamon & Nutmeg, To Taste

CRUST DIRECTIONS

Pulse ingredients in a food processor until well blended, then press the mixture into a pie dish.

FILLING DIRECTIONS

Peel & roughly chop the pears. Place them in the food processor and pulse until they turn into a chunky "applesauce". Stir in desired amount of honey, then fill up the pie crust.

TOPPING DIRECTIONS

Pulse the almonds and spices into a crumbly mixture. Sprinkle on top of the pie, pressing down into the filling.

Can be eaten as is or thrown in the fridge or freezer to "set". I like it best warmed up in the dehydrator for a few hours.  Enjoy!
