Benefits

Most people confuse sugarcane for regular table sugar but they have mistaken! The bad sugars are the processed and artificial sugars. Sugarcane is entirely healthy for you due to richness in phosphorous, iron, potassium, calcium and magnesium just to name a few vitamins and minerals found in sugarcane. “Studies have shown that sugarcane juice can help recover the loss of vitamins that happens due to febrile disorders like fever.” Also, sugarcane is a natural medicine used to cure jaundice. Poor liver functioning’s and blocked bile ducts are the cause of jaundice but two glasses a day of sugarcane water with lemon/lime and salt can help speed up the recovery process. A glass of sugarcane juice is also good for curing several infections, kidney stones (especially good for kidney stones as one of the main causes for them is dehydration), good for diabetics (helps balance glucose levels not like simple or artificial sugars do), cold flue and soar throat healer (sugarcane juice can prevent soar throat), rehydration, and prevent cancer (due to the alkaline richness sugarcane can especially prevent prostate, colon, breast, or lung cancer!). Don’t be afraid of sugarcane especially knowing this stuff is healthy and good for the body.
