Organic yellow corn meal (GF)

All purpose flour (GF)

Aluminum free baking powder

Cayenne pepper

Organic maple syrup

Non-dairy beverage

Organic apple sauce

Organic white vinegar

Himalayan pink salt

Organic cane sugar

Extra virgin olive oil or safflower oil


2 medium mixing bowl

2 tbsp. flaxseed blended added to a little bowl with 3 tbsp. water stirring and letting the mix sit for 10 min.


Start by measuring 2 cups corn meal and 1 ½ cups all purpose flour straining the flour when adding. Next add 1 ½ tbsp. baking powder, ¼ tsp. Himalayan pink salt, and 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper (optional). Mix all dry ingredients well together.


Second, add 1 ½ cup rice beverage, ½ tsp. white vinegar,  1 heaping tbsp. apple sauce, 3 tbsp. maple syurp, ¾-1 cup organic cane sugar, flax ‘egg’, and whisk all together disolving the sugar and mixing all the ingredients well together.

Next, add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients mixing all ingredients well together while adding ¼ cup olive oil and ¼ cup safflower oil while mixing.

Finally, get 2 non stick loaf bread pans and fill up both halfways placing in a oven at 355 F° for 40-42 min. poking a hole at the end to ensure they're done! These take a little long to bake but they golden up beautifully with a spongy, crummy texture. This corn bread recipe taste sweet but not to sweet for a maple or honey glaze finish.
