you fell asleep for a while

laying on the matress with all eyes closed and the world allowed

waking slowly with muddy flashes

everyone gets what space they need

to stop sleeping without bitter taste

to see how the winter is no longer cold

you fell asleep for a while

when roses blossom in november and sweden became new

the body no longer comforts in ignorance

the time we get is enough for faith

to crawl out of the eidendown like the serpents skin

to take the first step barefoot outside the bed

you fell asleep for a while

half a foot over the cold floor and the window open

puffy eyes don't make you less beautiful

a smile underneath the chestnut hair

to wake up one morning to you; to all I have

to dream resting my head over your thighs
